I am also going to start messing around with my email server tonight, so I can set up anybody to have an @metamorphosis.fm email account. these can point to your regular accounts as well.
The website is only allowing one account per email address, so I will have to invent a work around for that as well. I will fix that tonight.

The forum login link (http://www.metamorphosis.fm/smf/index.php?action=login) seems to be broken atm.

If you login on the site and then go to the forums, it logs you in.. your user name and password have been migrated from the forums to the site, Van, so you should be able to use those specifically on the site while I have time to investigate why the login to the forums is not working.

I'm a little confused on the login/account creation stuff. Is the account for the site the same as the forum? What about the wiki?
If it's the same, then the only two places I could find account creation was on the forum and the apply for full membership to the site stuff.
All in all the site has come a long way since the last time I checked on it. There are a few errors here and there with linking mostly, I can give you specifics if you need.

The forum and the site are linked, that is where some of the problems are popping up (it is not allowing people to independantly create forum accounts, which is fine, and is redirecting them to the main site, which is fine, but the link is broken, thus giving an error 404, which is not). I hope to create a connector that will do the same with the wiki when the link is working, but it is independant as of now (and, incidentally, for the blog as well).
Just PM me with an email address and I will manually create the accounts for now.

the Meta banner should point back to the home page, so you can get back from the Wiki, for example

I use a Mac. The latest version of OmniWeb (a very nice Mac browser) displays the home page like this: As you can see, the labels on the buttons across the top are nearly unreadable. So, I decided to try the latest version of Firefox instead. Here is what I got: At least the labels are legible.

That is an interesting phenomenon, as to make the site above, I changed all the .jpg files in photoshop, so the bottom site should never show, because the files it references no longer exist in that form.
I will investigate.

Cleared my caches before I took those pictures, by the way.

Hold down ctrl and refresh the page. That should make it pull directly from the server (or at least it does in Windows machines).
And, by the way, the menu font is that dark on the page. I have yet to figure out how to lighten it yet, but it is on the agenda, I promise (I can barely read it either).

I love the stuff you did, Robbyn. If you go back to the page, you should notice that I have set up pages for all the different names within the backstory to have their own pages as well. So now you can go and edit the entry for D'ana'no and Sorcha can edit the entry for herself, and Emi for Emi, etc.
I will be reading the boards and the old posts and compiling a great deal of this info myself (as far as former members are concerned), but if everyone would like to chip in on their own synopses, it will start this whole wiki going with some momentum.
My ultimate goal is to chronicle almost everything in these forums into this one repository. This way, when everything is up and running, we have a complete history that will just continue to expand.

Quibble. The Member Histories forum is described as:
A repository for Members to place there histories.
And I can't change my profile. which means I can't hide my email address from the public, which I want to do. I use the same password I use to log onto the site, and it informs me that the password is invalid.
