Ooh this is interesting stuff... My name is Drew, 23, recent graduate school grad (in a neat little discipline called Industrial/Organizational Psychology - Human Resource Management). I live in good ol' NC livin up country style enjoying my grits and sweet tea. I'm currently finding myself extremely underwhelmed about not having any school to worry about.... I thought the time off would be fantastic... but in actuality I'm just bored most of the time. Also, I think I may have developed insomnia since I graduated... just check out when I'm posting this message. I'm getting ready to get a job as a mediator for intraorganizational conflicts and hope to eventually go back and get a PhD in business ethics or some such and teach for the rest of my life (I got a taste for it, and it was pretty fun). I chose the night-elf because I'm a huge cat person and I knew they used cats as mounts. The name Finney derives from the pseudo-joke that I have going with my friends that are married that I thought a cool name for their kid would be phencyclidine... Phen for short... (or PCP for short, dating back to my drug counseling days and I thought phencyclidine sounded awesome). Ever since then I've thought that the name Finn or Finney is the bees knees. I chose the Hunter class because I wanted pets. I, play the piano, hike, and love to travel big time. I have never ever ever ever played a MMORPG but I was a big fan of Warcraft II and Starcraft so I thought I'd give it a whirl. And what a whirl its been! Ok thats about it I guess. Oh yeah a picture is here... www.facesofwow.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=56&pos=11Thats me!

I guess I had better let you all know a bit about the real me.
My name is Nathan and I am a doctor from Melbourne. I am currently doing my residency, and although I thoroughly enjoy surgery as a specialty, I enjoy my life too much to want to spen 20 hours a day working and the other 4 working to try and pass some major exams.
This is my first MMORPG, and I got into it because a good friend of mine had been playing for some time, and kept telling me how good it was. I always thought that I wouldn't have time to play, and that there were too many other things to do with my time, but when I had 3 weeks off, I got bored and he convinced me to buy a copy.
Well that was it.
The problem is I could never decide on a specific character. I have Mowlgi the lecherous gnomish mage, a warrior called grunthar with the personality and tact of a hammer, as well as Verlirra, who has become my favourite character. I love the versitility of the druid, being able to fill any gap in a party is excellent.
I also have some horde characters on Dalaran, a tauren shaman and an orc warlock, so I just play a bit of everyone now and then.
My other hobbies include dice and book roleplaying, table top wargaming, WORK, WORK work, (if only it could be a hobby), exercise, (running and weights), and going bush for camping, shooting and 4WDing.
If any one wants to know more, feel free to ask...

Okay...my turn, I suppose. My name is Paul, I am 40 years old, and have recently joined the Guild in the House of the Beast with Kalmorith, a Elven Hunter. I am a police officer, living in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, which is near Niagara Falls (and Buffalo, NY). Until, recently, I was working "on the road" (patrol) but due to my skill sets (so they say) I am now working on the implementation team of a large software product that will make our police agency paperless (yeah, right)... I do a lot of mounted (horse) patrol, and you can see me on our mounted police website at www.fnmp.org ...too bad we can't ride big striped cats, which I think would be very good for crowd control... My hobbies include scale model building, WWII reenactment, musical theatre (I am always in a show!), and history of all types. WoW is my first MMORPG, as up to now I said I would never get involved in such a thing, as I found MMPORG's to lack the cooperative element I was looking for. However, this game is so well-designed that I got it and have not looked back. I play a LOT of computer games, and don't know if I'll ever find a single-player experience quite as enriching as this one. I created Kalmorith as an Elf Hunter because I love archers, but I didn't know that Elven Hunters would be so blasted common in the game...all future characters I create will be the most uncommon ones (ie. Gnone Warrior). etc I look forward to continuing my adventures with you all! Oh, the pic...I am at Faces of WOW too...

Sorry... Faces of WoW is malfunctioning on me for some reason. Anyway, someone wanted me to post this, so I did. Yes, that's me. Granted, it was taken sometime in October of last year, but I don't change much. Before anyone asks: 1) Yes, my hair is naturally curly. While it drives me nuts, I love it. 2) No, I'm not a redhead. I dyed my hair once for fun, and it stuck that way. I'm hoping to go fully redhead once in college. 3) I'm 17... I've had people guess me to be my mom's sister, and even the mother of my sisters. But I'm not *giggles* 4) I'm stubbornly modest. Destros found that out. 5) My personality... is the exact same as Andenia's. 6) Those eyes you see in the picture? They change depending on mood. I've had them nearly every color under the rainbow. From deep violet, to slate gray. Drives the doctors nuts, because they don't understand it. I've always thought it was normal *laughs* I'll have a better picture up soon, I hope. I'm not in front of a camera much.... x^_^x

Hello, My name is Veronica and I live in Seattle Washington, I am Spanish, Venezualan. I am about 5'9 and have long black hair, I love to pamper myself at the salon, and enjoy shopping, running, and social activities with friends. I like music alot, anything from Enya, Sade, Electronica House to Industrial... Im not into Country though *smile* I like roleplaying, that has been hobby for a while. I have been in the Martial Arts for roughly 15 years and have competed, I think this is why I wanted to be a hunter; One is I enjoy the Hunt of my prey...siezing them up and taking them apart just by merely viewing their habbits whithin a few moments. I have been to Egypt, Japan (Kyoto) where I trained some more with my long time Instructor, he is from a long line of the Koga Ryu. I'am currently in the Criminal justice field and act as a Consultant and Advisor. Iam also a former Marine...yes thats right... Semper Fi. I also have participated in some runway fashion shows. My sister is a designer (hair) and has been to London for schooling, we are very close. I think I also chose the Elf and Hunter proffesion, is because, Elves seem soo graceful, polite, and good hearted. I love nature and the Pacific Northwest is just beautiful, and I love not only the city, but the woods, lakes and mountains that Washington State has to offer. I have been known to be a little Gothy....That does not mean I were all black and such...that is soooo Stereotypical profiling... but I do love my Black boots and Leather Corset *giggle*. Ok that is enough I think.. Vezesara

Okay... The name's Chris, an Anglican priest (that's Episcopal to you Americans) in Vernon, BC, Canada. 39-year-old brother of Windfoot (whose fault it is, incidentally, that I'm playing WoW at all). Happily married since '87, two kids (boy and girl). Vangelis' obsession with duty, which psychologically serves to contain a seething morass of rage, is only partly a type-cast... you'll just have to guess which part. I played D&D as a kid (yes, Basic D&D, but only briefly before AD&D came out) and have been into recreational RP & computing since forever. I played War2 far too seriously under the name of "Zot" (that was Windfoot's fault also, come to think...), and even created an online league called the SGWL. Since then I swore I would never get that involved in online gaming again, since between the demands of parish and family I shouldn't have a lot of room for obsessions. Sigh... Oh, and the pic can be found on the FacesOfWOW server: www.facesofwow.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=56^^^ EDIT: Link corrected - see post below 2nd EDIT: Got rid of direct link to pic

I just noticed that the Faces of Wow links are often out of whack. I checked a couple, including mine, and they are not correct. Vangelis, the latest, seems fine.
(And the picture in my place made me look much heavier...)

And you see that I had to correct mine. It seems that the id number is shuffled with every addition so that they remain in alphabetical order.

Okay, I'll give this a shot, although I'm so new most people won't know me yet (although those who have met Magdha don't tend to forget her easily.....heh).
My real name is Andrea, and I, like "Danny", am a Canadian (Winnipeg, Manitoba to be exact....you know, -40 in the winter, +40 in the summer, you've heard of it). I am married, and my husband (Whom I met RPGing years ago...are we nerds or what?) also plays WoW....he jokes that we had to get a second computer to save the marriage, and he's not far wrong *laughs*. We have a beautiful (and terrible....Troy and other parents, I feel your pain...) 8 year old daughter, and work in Child Care (thus the one child). Magdha is not, as you can guess from the bio, NOT me.....and believe me, she's not always easy to play, but she's always fun to play. Anyway, loving the guild, and looking forward to the plots ahead!

I have long thought about whether I should write something about myself. And for just one reason I won't...I have seen so much problems occur around me when OOC and IC become tangled up.
I am here to have fun, play a game and lose myself in my character Merz...
I do want to share that I share my life with the woman that plays the character Arellaz...and no, she's not my alt, as some of you have asked...
The reason why Merz is not on as frequently as he would like, is that he is created on the same account as Arellaz...and she simply has the 60-fever, being so close to that milestone...*grins*
I just have to be patient....
Oh, and for those that wonder why I am on at those odd times...I live in Belgium, hence always 9 hours ahead of the most of you...
Merz loves you all!

My name's Shane... 26 (I think... yeah) and living in SoCal (Inland Empire to those that know). I dropped out of college because it was boring (which was stupid) but I didn't want a boring job sitting behind a desk... so now I work at the family's auto parts shop working... behind... a desk... I make movies with my friends, which is my dream. We're just trying to get good enough to submit our stuff to festivals and whatnot. If you're not easily offended by certain things, then by all means check out my website. However, if you like wholesome family entertainment, just don't bother. www.american-ocean.com

Well the time has come... For Useless and Trivial Facts About Merlinne! I'm actually a pretty boring person. heh I'm 34. My real name is Kitty. I really am a woman. Kan is my husband. Currently I work as a secretary in a Mental Health Clinic (certainly never boring around here!) I have been a cop, an electronics technician, electronics assembler/rework specialist, tutor for an autistic child, deli clerk, heavy labor grunt in a titanium manufacturing facility, receptionist and telephone operator for Greyhound Bus Lines. (yawn) I have played pen and paper RPGs for 20 years. I have been writing for about that long too (they always seemed to go hand in hand for me). Nothing published professionally yet but over 400 shorts published in small circulation amateur 'zines. Sometimes I dabble with pencil and art paper. I like jalapeno poppers (with cream cheese, not cheddar!) A picture of me actually exists somewhere. edit: Oooh! Lookie! I found it! i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/LostVirtue/Lakiah01.jpg (had to steal it off my last EQ guild's website. Not sure where the original is anymore. edit: Forgot to mention that I played EQ for just over 4 years. Primarily a Cleric the last two and Paladin the first two. Mage is a new experience for me.
