Check this out: Defenders of Valor at RPG Outfitter It's pretty cool, I must say. Sadly, the install is a bit complicated. But if I managed it, anyone can! Here's what you need to do: Getting Started
1. Create a free account at RPG Outfitter (you do NOT need to use your WoW user name and password, you can use anything).
2. Download the Character Profiler
3. Extract the downloaded file into the Addons folder of World of Warcraft Directory. (Should be C:Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\CharacterProfiler. I had to create the folder "CharacterProfiler" in the folder Addons and then extract to it.)
4. Launch World Of Warcraft and login. When you get on, type /cp in the chat box and it should display a list of commands. If it does not, verify that the CharacterProfiler directory is in the correct place.
5. Open up your character by pressing "c" and click the "save" button at the top right corner of your character view.
6. In the chat window, type the command "/cp export".
N.B. read this next carefully! The file location is a bit strange! 7. Exit World of Warcraft and return to the RPG Outfitter site and login. Click on the "Upload" button near the top of the page to go to the upload page (or Click Here). Click "Browse..." beside "CharacterProfiler" and find C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account>\SavedVariables\CharacterProfiler.lua. Click the "upload file(s)" button, then wait. When the upload is complete, the website will display a box with details about the file you uploaded. (more detailed instructions below) One more thing: please add a note here when you have uploaded your character!

(( Wow awesome tool. I doubt, I'll use it, however, if it can be used to scan your inventory, perhaps we could use to scan our pack mules.
Now Bladekeep and Stouthelm and display their inventory without being online.
Secondly, should each house warden or wardeness? manage their own pack mules? I understand space is an issue, perhaps distributing the inventory among the houses will help.
))

Getting Started First thing you need to do is create a free account at RPG Outfitter (you do NOT need to use your WoW user name and password, you can use anything). Then go to the Character Profile Page and read through it. Then, when you're ready, download the Character Profiler Here. Extract the downloaded file into your World of Warcraft Directory (should be C:Program Files\World of Warcraft). You should now have the RPG Outfitter character profiler located in this folder C:Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\CharacterProfiler. Open up World Of Warcraft and login. When you get on, type /cp in the chat box and it should display a list of commands. If it does not, verify that the CharacterProfiler directory is in the correct place. Now, open up your character by pressing "c" and click the "save" button at the top right corner of your character view. Saving Professions/ Bank/ Bags During a normal session, the CharacterProfiler should be able to scan your bags, professions, and bank account automatically. If you would like to explicitly save info about what is in your bag/ bank and your professions, open up all of your bags and leave them open for about 10 seconds. Repeat this process with the bags in your bank. If you want to save your recipes, open up each of your crafting profession windows (cooking, alchemy, engineering, blacksmithing, first aid etc.) You can hide your bank, bag and profession info on the RPG Outfitter site if you would like, but you are encouraged to share this information in guild and can even share it with people outside the guild by changing the default permissions. Finishing Up To verify that your data has been collected correctly, type in "/cp show" without the "" in the chat box. It should not list anything in red. If it says anything in red print, such as "Bank not scanned", then that means it did not scan your bank and you have to go open it again for about 10 seconds. Once you are happy with what the profiler scanned, you can explicitly export your data to the savedvariables.lua file using the command "/cp export". Upload your file Exit World of Warcraft and return to the RPG Outfitter site and login. Click on the Upload button near the top of the page and follow the instructions for locating the right file. The file you are uploading should be (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<USERNAME>\SavedVariables.lua). Click "Browse..." to locate this file, click the "upload file" button, then wait. When the upload is complete, the website will display a box with details about the file you uploaded. Automated Upload The Uni-Uploader program can be used to automate the upload process so that your data is always up-to-date on the website. This external program has been certified for use by RPG Outfitter. Download the file and find full configuration instructions here: www.rpgoutfitter.com/articles/view.cfm?AID=17

Lando, how do you turn off it showing your mail?
The reason I ask is because it will add alot of additional things to my inventory, because I run short on bank space and ship stuff to a mule and bounce it back to that I can get to things when I need them.

Just a note: If RPG outfitter becomes ubiquitous it will render obsolete my attempt at having a self-maintained skill roster. For my part I'm totally won over.

Alright, we are fixed up in the Quartermaster Stores on this VERY useful tool.
You will find us there.
I am so impressed with this tool, that I am going to refer members to it on a constant basis! Well done!

Now that our banks are on there, how are we going to go about getting items? I have seen it done a few ways, set up a thread where members post, request the item via RPG outfitters (we had problems with this), or just send in game emails. Email seems to be the best way though.
