Emi and I were discussing possible ways to shoo young suitors (something I have about 15 years to perfect now). I like this one (WARNING! Extreme language in this clip) from Bad Boys 2: youtube.com/watch?v=x4pIJtt48g4Another friend says I should just stay calm, take the possible suitors ID, write down all the info, follow them to the car, write the license info, and tell them that if they are not home by the agreed upon time, I would call the cops, give them the pertinent info and then proceed to race the cops to find the young, soon to be dead, suitor.

I was visiting my brother last week, and his 5 year old daughter showed us a fairy-princess type dress she wanted to wear for Halloween. The skirt, many layers of netting, did not cover the outline of her lower half very effectively. The top also fails to cover critical areas, or what will one day be critical areas. My liberal, open-minded college professor brother: SHE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE IN THAT! Of course, she ignores her dad and twirls around like girls do in frilly skirts, blissfully innocent as she should be at five years old. Meanwhile, her three year old brother tries on the pink high heeled shoes, and waves the feathery pink fairy princess wand around. Really wish I had a picture of my brother's face. Yup, making daddy proud. Mike -- you have so much to look forward to! I see she already found her thumb -- clearly she is highly intelligent and exceptionally coordinated. You are going to be a great dad. Congratulations!
