I would like to organize a house hunt but I am in need of a target. Does anyone have a quest or an item needed that is worthy of a house hunt? I am looking for something that is at least an elite mob or dungeon raid. It can be any level but I am hoping for something in the 30 to 40 range so that everyone can come.
Please post your idea's and we can brain storm together!

Landorian, I will have to confess when I first saw this message, it was at the same time I had just posted a regular Grande Hunt for Raptors, and I thought you were talking about that same type of thing. Forgive me, for I now see that you are not.
Indeed, are you proposing a Hunter and Druid only raid on a dungeon?! If so, how exciting that could be! The challenges of mounting such a raid could have great potential for fun, since we would have to manage all dangers with only the power within our classes. The more I think of it, the more fun it could be!
Of course, with our complement of Druids, we would have healing powers, and though not as strong as the priests, I have seen Druids work healing wonders. Although hunters are not the best at fighting toe-to-toe with terrible monsters, I have seen big pets hold the attention of even the largest creatures. With their howls, snarls, and growls, and small army of pets might do well.
However, good Landorian, I rant. What do you propose?

Well, the druids can also shift into bear form and keep the attention of just about anything. I feel that our house, over all others, has the potential to be self sufficient. Now that I am a bit older I think just about anything can be done. I didn't see much interest from our younger members, although, maybe they are just shy? I am willing to set up everything I just need the target! We could lay siege to the monastery, attack Zul'Faruk, slay a dragon in the Sunken Temple, anything!

Landorian, you can have my support anywhere. I hope that I can call upon my old House colours?

I have decided our target will be the Shade Eranikus. We will take our house down into the depths of the Sunken Temple. This will be a mission for the House of Beasts only. All our members are welcome to come although anyone that has not past their 30th birthday may not survive the adventure. ((not sure if ST is limited to 10 people. If so we will work something out if we have more than that show up))
I would now like to ask for input as far as when the raid should take place. I prefer Friday and Saturday nights. Is there anyone that would like to attend that could not do so on either of those nights?

Sunken Temple has a 10-man limit on it. Also, I believe it locks out players lower level than 40. (The lockout might be level 35, but it definitely locks people out at some point for being too low.)
I'm available either night, but I have to know in advance, especially for Friday. (Saturday I am usually on Feathermoon, but there's the guild raid at 7pm, so that's kind of taken.)
I'm curious if we have any restoration druids, or if you are going to need me to stay in elf form and heal? (For what it's worth, a purely restoration specc druid can heal as well as a priest, but I am not that, I'm afraid. I have plenty of mana and I have the spells, of course, but I have no healing improvements from talents.)
This last paragraph is so I can have one that doesn't have aparenthetical remark in it. Looking forward to the hunt!

(Love when typos make you look smarter - although it should really have read "this is an aparenthetical paragraph".)

Landorian, a worthy target indeed. I am not concerned so much about the ten-man limit, as I would be suprised if we had that many. We have run into the season-limit before, but I also cannot recall what it was.
This week, I am away for the entire week, from Tuesday to Sunday. So I will not be available if you want to run it this week, sorry. (I have also held of on posting the next Grande Hunt).
But by all means, if you wish to get this off the ground for next weekend, Landorian, you have my blessing to do so and take leadership. Otherwise, hold off and I'll come along the week after.
Sorcha'rei, you are correct in bringing up the healing aspect at this time. Indeed, I do not recall if we have a healing specc'ed druid...we may have to pool the healing powers of more than one druid. That will likely be our biggest challenge...then again, if we are all Season 60 in this particular Temple, maybe not...
Thanks again for going with this, Lando.

Landorian, I have returned from my week abroad. Any news of the hunt? Did it happen? Is it yet to happen? When do we set out? I eagerly await!

Though a moon cycle has passed since M'lord Windfury's last post, I was wondering if anything did come of this. Though I hadn't seen the post earlier (and probably would not have been of age then anyway) I know that, depending on time and place, my sister-in-law Tristlyn (an initiate druid) and myself would be interested in participating in a house hunt should it occur.
Any information would be most welcome.

Hello Heng,
I do not recall that we have succeeded in organizing such an event, but I still think it is an excellent idea. We have several hunters in their 40th or higher seasons, and I believe that a group of us might undertake any number of tasks successfully. At my next opportunity, I will review the list of our current hunters and see what target might be appropriate.
We hunters tend to do much of our training alone, and therefore we are quite versatile. It would be interesting to see what we could accomplish as a group, although if we choose a more ambitious objective we may want to have a healer come along.
(I know I most often see you and Daramoon on weekends, what times are best for you?))

((Celera, generally the best times to find us prowling about the lands is later in the day on the weekends. Dara has her Druid - Tristlyn, who is a Defender and 56 or 57 - available if we want to try to put something together)).
