The House Charter is posted on a rough dais of stone and wood with a tilted face. It is written on a massive scroll held in place by and an arrow at each corner and it appears to have seen some travels of its own, though the paper is still new. Though written in Common, the handwriting is clearly Elven. Beneath the flowing script you see the signatures of the guild members who have sworn oath to the Charter. An exotic feather pen sits along side the Charter, along with an ink well.

About the House_______________________________________________________________________________
The hunters and druids who make up the ranks of the House of the Beast are united by their connection with the balance that informs all of the natural realm of Azeroth. We are both master and servant to the spirits of nature, strongest when we are perfectly in tune with the power of animals, plants, and elements. We must embrace the savagery of the beast and must learn to control it. We accept the “law of the jungle” but are not reduced by it. Reservoirs of solitary strength must be balanced with the strength of the strong pack. Our journeys inevitably take us out to solitary untamed wilds and deep inside ourselves to spiritual connection.
Because the very spirits of the wild can come to the aid of the House of the Beast, we may be more adaptable, and self-sufficient, than any other of the Houses. It is likely for this reason that members of the House of the Beast tend to work alone. However, with knowledge, the hunter and the druid can provide both support and leadership to any hunt.
House Ranks________________________________________________________________________________
1) Lord of the Hunt – The Lord of the House of the Beast, known as Lord of the Hunt, is the head of the House. The Lord is charged with protection of the pack and the call to the hunt. They have final say on any matter of direction of the House, calling meetings, admission, promotion and demotion of members, and have the duty of effecting discipline and punishment. The Lord must be familiar with the Charter, must bring credit to the House of the Beast by word and action, and must exemplify courage, strength of character, and decision-making.
2) Wardens – The Wardens of the House are responsible for the day-to-day running of the House in the absence of the Lord. If the Lord falls, a Warden must be ready to take their place in the hunt. The Wardens are charged with recruitment to the House, and leadership of the initiates as they advance in their career. A Warden may admit recruits as initiates, but should do so only after consultation with the Lord of the Hunt. The Wardens are ambassadors of the House, and must be familiar with the Charter and bring credit to the House of the Beast by their words and actions.
3) The Blooded – The Blooded are advanced members of the House who have been promoted from "member" status due to exemplary performance. They are members who have proven over time that they are dependable and that they can contribute to the cause. The Blooded should bring credit to the House of the Beast by their words and actions.
These stalwart members of the House achieve the elevated status of Blooded due to their ritual of admission. A member may not be considered for the status of Blooded until they have served a full 30 days as a full Member.

4) Members – A member of the House of the Beast, and of the Guild as a whole, enjoy all the rights and privilages that come with it. They may wear the guild tabard freely. They may draw both rare and epic items from the Quartermaster stores as needed. Members can advance to become Blooded.

5) Initiates – All entrants to the House of the Beast begin as initiates. Inititates are encouraged to participate in guild events and to engage with other guild members as much as possible. Initiates can advance to become Members.
House Code_______________________________________________________________________________________
The House of the Beast is ultimately bound by the laws of the natural world, the spirit world and upholds balance in all things. For us, savagery and contemplation both have a place, and hold each other in check. To deviate too far in one direction always draws a countervailing force, often with dire consequences.
The ritual of the Blooding is to be treated with respect and honor. Where others see savagery, the House of the Beast sees respect for the natural order of things.
Beneath the Scroll it reads, "The Following members of the House of Beast have signed this Charter as testament to their solemn oath to abide by the precepts set out in the Charter of this House of the Beast:"

Ritual of Admission - To become ‘blooded,’ the prospective applicant must first petition a the Lord of the Hunt or the Warden with his or her intention to become so. The Lord will then select an appropriate member of the House for the member to face in a duel. The duel of the blooding traditionally takes place at the Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands. Either the Lord of the Hunt or the Warden must witness this duel and should the member prove himself (not necessarily winning!) then he or she will become ‘Blooded’ with the House through the bonding ritual. The blood of the member is then mingled with another of the House, so that the blood of the pack flows together.

4) Members – A member of the House of the Beast, and of the Guild as a whole, enjoy all the rights and privilages that come with it. They may wear the guild tabard freely. They may draw both rare and epic items from the Quartermaster stores as needed. Members can advance to become Blooded.
Membership Ceremonies - Initiates who have successfully completed their 30-day probationary period are eligible for full membership status once they have submitted a written account or their personal history in the Halls. After meeting this requirement, they will be invited to attend a Membership Ceremony held by the Lord. During this time, the Initiate will be sworn in as a full member, and awarded a guild tabard. Festivities are held afterward.
Posting of Personal History - Initiates who have successfully completed their 30-day probationary period are eligible for full membership status once they have submitted a written account in the Halls describing their past history. This is in keeping with the ages old tradition of passing on family and tribal lore through storytelling. The personal history has no set format. It need only be a biography of the initiate's past, with personal anecdotes and observations that are meaningful to the initiate. This is an opportunity for the initiate to share with other guild members a personal part of their lives.

5) Initiates – All entrants to the House of the Beast begin as initiates. Inititates are encouraged to participate in guild events and to engage with other guild members as much as possible. Initiates can advance to become Members.
Probation Period - All initiates are on a period of probation for 30 days. During this time, they are expected to abide by the Guild Charter, and the Code of the House of Beast. Initiates who successfully complete their probation period are eligable for full membership, pending the posting of their personal history in the Halls.
Tabard Restriction - Out of respect for those who haved earned it, Initiates are not permitted to wear the guild tabard until they become full members. Tabards are awarded as a gift to Initiates who gain full membership.
