"I was born in Darkshire, when the people of the town still showed kindness and there was no need for a night watch. My parents were apparently quite friendly, but were taken advantage of by the Council. He saw that my father was gaining in popularity, and was suggested by many people to run against the 7-year straight Council leader that was there. When he caught wind of my family's popularity, were were taxed heavily for "noise disruption" and were forced to move under risk of losing all our belongings. So we hitched up and moved to Westfall. There was some open farmland, now known as the "Dead Acre" that they were going to move onto. But that was when the Defias gang was rising in power. Their machines tore the fields to pieces, and my family was powerless to stop them. We were new, so we had no clue that we had to pay for "protection from bandits" to their leader VanCleef, and when they demanded money, my father tried to fight them.
I was told to run with my sister, and so we fled back across the Darkened Bank, where Basil Threadd caught up to us. He ran us into Jerod's Landing, another large Defias base. My sister was taken, and so I had to run. The gap between those years, when I was seven, to recent, is empty. Nothing but roaming the forest, learning how to skin and fish in Crystal Lake, stealing the occasional apple or two from the Lion's Pride inn...
So now we come to the present. I have passed through three other houses, the latest I'm not so proud of. I shall not go into detail about those.
Well, here I am now. Early-learned paranoia, and a knack for picking up some of the most random information, and stealing a book or two from the Stormwind Library each week."
He finished with a deep breath, and rose.
"If that's all you needed from me, I guess I'll be leaving for the day..."
