*Redentor Lighthammer opens up the letter and realizes it is sent from one by the name of Merlinne d'lvary Lady of the House of Dalaran seeking his audience. Intrigued Redentor writes back*
Light Bless thee Lady D'lvary,
I am honored that one such as yourself would seek an audience with me. I accept your request and look forward to know what it is that you would like to see me about.
My company of knights and I are currently camped along the outer wall of Zul Gurrub. We have been ordered to keep the Hakkari threat at bay. So with that I will make most haste to arrive back to Stormwind in two days. Thus perhaps we can arrange a time to meet either then or sometime afterwards?
Lady D'lvary I do look forward to hearing from you soon.
May the light forever guide and protect you path.
Redentor S. Lighthammer Commanding Officer of the Validus Knights

Merlinne looked up from her desk to find Jaymes politely waiting for her, a letter in his hand. She smiled at the butler and motioned him in.
"This just arrived for you my Lady," he said with a bow.
"Thank you Jaymes," she said taking the envelope and turning it over in her hands to read the return post. "Ah, yes. I have been expecting this. I will send a response, please have one of the footmen come pick it up in an hour."
"Yes my Lady," he said then turned smartly and left her to her tasks.
After reading the letter through she thought about her upcoming schedule before responding. Two days time... hm... She had made arrangements to meet with some of the Defenders for an evening of relaxation on Tuesday and Wednesday she was engaged in assisting guild mates.
My Lord Lighthammer,
On Tuesday a small number of Defenders will be gathering in Stormwind to take some time away from battling the evils that threaten our world. I have agreed to make myself available to them at this time. However, you or any of the Knights are welcome to partake of this time of relaxation as well, should you so desire. Though this is not necessarily a private matter I wish to meet with you for, if you desire a more isolated meeting I can make myself available another day.
Unfortunately I am otherwise engaged Wednesday assisting the Defenders in their tasks. Thursday evening I can be available starting at the evening hour of 5 o'clock. I can also be available Friday evening at the same time if I know in advance. Please let me know when would be most convenient for you.
Sincerely,
Merlinne d'Ivary Lady of the House of Dalaran Defenders of Valor

"HOLD THE LINE!!!"
"Aye Aye Sir"
*A battle ravages at the outer wall of Zul Gurrub. The Validus Knights have begun their siege of that vile and evil temple. Redentor looking over the battle realizes it would be a good time to head back to the command post to see if any news from the home front has arrived. Placing one of his officers in charge of the battle he makes his way back to the command post. As soon as he arrives he is greeted by one of his runners.*
"Sir, this letter arrived for you a few days ago *hands Redentor a letter*...I apologize I could not get this to you sooner...I was told you were leading the advance party into the heart of Zul Gurrub...in any event good to see your alive and well sir."
*The Runner renders a salute to his commanding officer and Redentor returns the salute and begins reading the letter. Immediately he knows it's another letter from Lady D'Ivary. Still reading Redentor walks into his command tent and sits down to finish the letter. He is momentarily interrupted by his chaplain who was also in the command tent.
"Commander, I had cast mind vision on you so that I could read over your shoulder. I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything that has gone a skew with our focus on the vile place of Zul'Gurub. I am sorry that I did that... but I will ride with you if you wish it."
**swiftly strides back to his studies**
"I know Chaplain....you know as well as I do, I have nothing to hide...and thus I'm glad you did...it'll keep me from having to pass the letter to you. *Redentor Chuckles at the chaplain and begins to write back to Lady D'Ivary*
Light Bless thee Lady D'Ivary,
You are quick with the pen m'lady and I must apologize for my tardiness with my response. We have intensified our position against the Hakkari Trolls and I have been away from the command post for a few days. In any event I so wish I and my Knights can partake in such fine festivities. However, Lady Prestor has made it quite obvious to us that we be placed somewhere else and deal with other engagements. Between you and me I feel that Lady Prestor has a secret agenda and I intend to find out what it is...even if it means being on the other side of the world to find out. In any event I shall take your gracious invitation in heart and mind and hope that your warriors have a splendid time.
In light of the time in where I will be available....due to certain incidents that have surfaced within my sight I will be heading back to Stormwind the 26th of this Month. Which will be according to the calendar this Thursday. If you so wish we can meet upon or around the 17th hour of that day. I do look forward to finally meeting with you Lady D'Ivary and come with most anticipation and intrigue to hear what exactly it is you wish to say to me.
Till that day I wish you and your kin safe journeys.
May the light guide and protect your path"
Redentor S. Lighthammer Commanding Officer of the Validus Knights

The pile of paperwork on Merlinne's desk had finally been battled down to something more manageable. All that remained from the filing, inventories, negotiations and training records was a small pile of correspondence. She thumbed quickly through it. Most of them were notices of tailoring items that had been delivered to the Hall for her to put to use for the Defenders. One caught her eye and she pulled it from the rest to read.
After reading the message from Redentor she smiled and set it aside. Thursday would work out well. Considering how long it took to have a letter delivered to him she decided not to send another and just made a note to contact him over buzzbox on the appointed day.
Pulling another piece of parchment out, she made a list of a few things for Annabeth to prepare for the meeting. Refreshments would be in order and in the assignment against the denizens of Zul'Gurub she was certain the Knights found it difficult to get decent tea or food. One could only tolerate summoned bread for so long.
