Ok, so Guds hit 70 last night (woohoo!), so I think it is time to reevaluate my talents. Before you ask, no, I am not switching specs. Just shuffling new talents and scrapping ones I never use. Van has suggested I up my parry more to be even more allusive, but I feel that with my shield block rating almost at 20% unbuffed, I may not need it. Also, I want to try to increase my damage output, even the slightest bit. But that may just come down to the gear choice and not talents. Anyways, I have a couple builds I played with, so please check them out and I would appreciate any feedback you could give me!
Current Build
Build 1
With this build, I reallocated the points from my improved shield wall (because I found that I can only use it once every 60 minutes AND in is only a 5 second boost) to improved bloodrage. That 6 extra rage off the bat could get me a quick sunder or two. I also removed my talents in Improved Revenge and Improved Defensive Stance for a total of 6 extra points to be put elsewhere. I do not really need the revenge stun because even at 40% chance, it does not proc often oddly enough. It also NEVER works on boss fights, so I figured I could do without the stun. I got rid of the imp. defensive stance because 6% spell damage reduction is not that much. Plus, I have a silencing shield bash, a concussion blow stun, AND spell reflection. I will not be hit by spells often unless in PvP, of which I do not persue often. I put 5 points into Deflection to increase my parry significantly, and the last point into improved heroic strike, making the total cost for my heroic strike 11. I figured, why not make it ten, so I took one point from cruelty and put it there.
Build 2
With this build I tried to make Guds as beneficial as possible to the group. I have never thought of having better shouts and played around with it. An extra 45% damage reduction from a demoralizing shout is pretty sweet, as well as 25% bonus to Battle and Commanding Shouts as well. Cruelty is at maximum as well. However, I had to give up on my rage builders on Imp. Bloodrage and Tactical Mastery...
Build 3
With this build, All I had in mind was a slight boost in damage dealt. With extra bleeds and a 20% increase in damage on my crits with Impale, I should be able to increase my DPS slightly. Also, the Improved thunderclap would be nice to grab all the initial aggro of a group after charging and before switching to defensive stance. The cons of this build include no Imp. Sunder Armor, no bloodrage and tactical mastery, and a reduced amount of Cruelty and Focused Rage. My main concern with this build is that I would be constantly out of rage... which is why I took Anger Management, but I am not quite sure if that will help significantly enough.
