www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBQRfKeIYZcCan't figure out how to imbed videos, so you're just going to have to click the link if you want to see it, hehe, sorry! It's a little video of Knut, the Berlin polar bear baby. The song is adorable, too, imho, but is in German. Basically she sings, "Knut, Knut, the little polar bear outside, Knut, Knut, you're right good." (Or something. Kal?)

This seems to have some of the better video clips of Knut that I've seen there are quite a few little Knut videos popping up on the internet, but then... he's a bumbling baby polar bear, and there are few things cuter than that. <sings little Knut song>

They think that no animal should be raised thinking that a human is its parent, and, since Knut has no parents and will be very "humanized", it's cruel to him and he should be put down.
Which... doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Ok - I can understand people being angry about someone stealing a baby polar bear as a pet, but this animal is going to be a zoo animal (they don't often release "bred in captivity" bears back out into the wild), and he'll probably end up teaching everyone a whole lot about how baby polar bears live. Which, to me, seems like a good thing.
Plus, the little bugger really is cute. Even if he'll be 2K lbs in a year or two (:

Curious definition of animal rights, to think that an animal should be put down just because it's an orphan, especially if there's a place for it in a zoo somewhere.
On the other hand, I now know that it is especially annoying when a song gets stuck in your head and the song is in frakking German. Gah!
machen Sie es zum Halten!
