((I just respecced Rheyna and a level 51 priest due to the 1.10 patch. It makes me wonder if the time has come to tweak the speccs of my other toons. Whole post is OOC.))
Hey druids! How are you specced? Curious other druids want to know.
I want to know what you were trying to achieve with your talents, what talents you chose, and whether it worked to achieve your goals. Are you happy with your specc? Thinking about changing it in any way?
I'll go first....
Ljanna, the healbot druid
LJ is my healing cleansing, classic PvE druid. Before the 1.8 patch, she was a Swift build, but for a variety of reasons, she won the toss to become the healbot since that patch. She uses a very heavy restoration specc, although I dumped 10 points into balance so she's not entirely gimped when she has to solo. When she does solo, she mostly casts, but has been known to use Cat or Dire Bear in emergencies. Her feral forms are completely gimped and she doesn't carry around her old feral gear from pre-1.8.
My goal was to make her a fierce healer who could kill a few things now and again. I basically took all the restoration healing talents except improving Regrowth (it's the most mana-inefficient, and with Healing Touch being improved, I wasn't using it much, so when I wanted to go from 5 balance to 10, that's one place I took it from).
It works pretty well, and I don't have any inclination to change it.

Sorcha
Sorch is my balance druid partly because her RP requires it, and partly because I wanted something different. I sure got it! She sometimes casts in PvE, but often heals. She's a terrific soloer, although it's handy to have a mage friend I can treat as a water vending machine before heading out to grind faction.
I respecced her recently into Nature's Focus, which is just enough to give her surprising flexibility as a healer (good gear helps, too) -- she's one of the four main healers in her ZG raid and the only druid (so she has to be on MT healing in boss fights, which I wish she didn't since her Rejuv is unimproved, but we do what we can). Since Healing Touch casts the full 3.5 seconds, her healing gear is heavy on the +healing to take advantage of the fact that she does not get a cast-time reduction in +healing. The other thing that really helps with healing is Moonglow.
I often consider respeccing her out of moonkin and trying something more like 30/0/21 to make her a stronger healer. I don't do it because of RP, and because she'd still be pretty gimped as a healer compared to LJ. When I want to play a druid healer, I go play the healbot.
Sorcha has tanked Baron successfully with this specc, but I can't say I recommend doing that.

Devorah
Dev is my feral druid. She can't heal worth a damn and that's just fine with me. (I put her in healing gear on boss fights in RaidID instances where DPS is all ranged, or where she is on cleansing duty. Otherwise, no.) She's specced to support both Cat and Bear, but I mostly play her as a Cat.
I just wanted a full-on feral druid. All her balance and restoration points go directly to supporting her feralness.
My goal was just to make a druid who is wicked fun to solo and who can irritate rogues by out-damaging them from time to time in PvE. Oh, and did I mention the part about being the best Sneaky Kitty possible, Van?
I sometimes consider removing her bear-focused points and putting them in actual healing talents, but I can't get enough to make her a plausible healer, and she's in the same guild as LJ, anyway. Plus, every once in awhile, her ZG raid group will have her OT the raptor in the Bloodlord Mandokir fight, which is just wicked fun. So thus far, I have kept both Cat and Bear support.
I wouldn't mind having more points in feral, but I really like the added threat I get from Imp thorns, and for a Cat I think OoC is required, so I'm living with it for now.
