Someone who will remain unnamed (Finney) asked me something like "WTF?" about this post. The answer is that "Copper" is a character from Robb's story "A Coward's Tale." If you want to meet her you, however, will need to brace yourself for reading about 20,000 words (roughly 40 pages)...so far...of story.

Thanks Fech. I never would haev even thought I could write so much if it hadn't been for the support of this crew.
Incidentally, I need some advice, if anyone cares to give it. I recently received feedback on the story to the effect that Copper should have died from her injury because she was impaled through the lung. That was not the point of impact that I thought I wrote. Here is my exact text:
"The woman was stabbed through the soft space between shoulder and chest and impaled upon the wooden post of the chair behind her."
I meant that little dip right below the clavicle and beside the shoulder. Was it unclear to anyone else? Any suggested revisions? Your thoughts?

I saw a really bad shoulder wound. However, back in the day, there are stories of blokes getting shot through the lung with arrows and living a few more years. Hell, William Wallace got shot through the NECK and went on until his execution. They were supermen back then! We're a bunch of pansies!

I've seen lots of crazy injuries in my time, and the old addage truly applies, " You'd be amazed at what you can live through."
The old Ripley's Believe it or Not even did that thing on the guy that had a railroad spike completely piercing his brain from under his jaw, and that guy lived for like, 25 years with an extra ten pound of metal in his head. So, hell, it is all fiction anyways, just write more!
