The icy winds pierced the bone of the old dwarf as he rode back towards the halls of his family. The day had been long and arduous, strewn with blood and steel. But these troubles in the lands of Outland were not entirely on the dwarf's mind. Back home, a new evil could be felt in the air, east of Darkshire. Something stirred in the tower in those mountains, and Gudran began to think that it was time to prepare... Yep, that's right. Karazhan looms on the horizon. I realize that many of us are not quite to 70 yet. I also realize that this comes at an odd time, with many of our 70's mysteriously disappearing and Norah moving on to Fates End (which doesn't mean she can't continue to play with us!! We still love you! )). However, I believe that it is time we start preparing ourselves for this crazy dungeon. There are several things that must be address here. First and foremost, if we can establish a team (flexible of course, but I want to learn this instance with consistent comrades) with which to start venturing. Another task is to start all the attunement quests and junk and attempt to organize times in which we can do them together. Thirdly, we should start reading up on what lies in Karazhan to prepare for the future battles ahead. Always good to know what we are up against. Lastly, I think we should start doing more dungeon runs together in general, primarily to further get to know each other's play styles. Many of us play together consistently, but I know of those that at least Guds has not done a dungeon or two with. On a side note, we can get better loot to prepare ourselves for Karazhan as well. Anyways, here is to camaraderie and the (hopefully) success we will have in Karazhan! Great resources: WoWWiki KarazhanHow to get AttunedA Plethora of guides to the bosses of WoW all compiled into one site((I am sorry if this feels weird, but I feel that we need to start taking our guilds destiny into our own hands. We have been dormant for too long...))

Sounds like a lot of fun... I was reading about all the instances that I haven't been to yet so I suppose I better hop to it. If I need to heal then I'll bring Monuv, but if healing is covered, Icilis it is.

Hmmm, a goal would be more motivating than just "getting to 70."
I won't be available tonight, but I'll should be able to hang out for a while over the weekend and make some progress. I'm still a ways from 70, but... we'll see.

Glad ta hear from ya Cel! Now, are you gonna be playing with Cel, Thel, or Laranna (or any other alts you might have ), or multiple?

Well, Cel is a little further along atm. And we don't have a lot of hunters anymore, actually. You probably don't need two warlocks. Besides, if Thelanya is there, Icilis wouldn't be able to concentrate . Laranna is only 53 or something.

Count me in on whatever outing this is you're planning. Otherwise you'll likely just yourselves killed.

((Sorcha is currently the only level 70 KZ keyed healing-capable druid in her guild. They need her for KZ, and I don't want to leave them stranded. So, in my usual whacked out way, I am leveling another druid to 70 for them, before I move her over. Ljanna's about halfway there (halfway from 60 to 70, I mean, not halfway from 1 to 70!)
Sorcha's current specc (which I don't think will change substantially) is a raiding balance specc. I found that a full on tree specc made her untenable as a 5-man healer, especially in heroics. Moreover, it gimped her for soloing or small group questing, too. A raiding balance specc means that I've taken all the talents in balance and restoration that allow her to heal well using HT. This makes her a fine MH (she can be a MT healer in KZ, or solo-heal a 5-man, and be either the MH or the OH in a heroic), but since I put the point in moonkin, she can also offer that utility to a group. This makes her especially nice in heroics and in KZ, where you often want different group compositions in different areas. When she's DPSing, if you put her in a group with a holy palli and a shadow priest, the palli NEVER runs out of mana.
Anyway, depending on how long leveling Ljanna the rest of the way takes, I'll be there with Sorcha, who really belongs on FM. Her story isn't done yet, after all. Sorcha does have the KZ key.))

Alright, updated! With the guild severely hurting and possible disbanding in the near future, I in no way want to make this guild only, since many of us have moved to other guilds already. With that said, I hope we can still work this out!! I think we will have a blast!
So, from what I can see, we will need some healing power, and maybe some more CC. I do not want to keep anyone out though! I believe Sil said he is interested, so I will have to get back to him to clarify. That would be another hunter.
I have done the first two quests already in front of Karazhan, so if anyone needs help (minimum level 68 to start), shout out to me! I am currently needing to head to the Shadow Labs for the first key fragment. We will also need to do Hillsbrad and complete it to get to the Black Morass in the future.
Anyhoo, please bear with me. This will be my first attempt at organizing something like this... hope this will work out!

If anything, Guds, people moving to other guilds gives us a broader network of people to choose from. So don't worry about that. I might go ahead and level Laranna after Cel, so who knows, maybe you'll have a healer by the time we're ready anyway. (That could take a while though .

Alright! Some of us are now at the part of the attunement for Karazhan where we need to go to the Shadow Labyrinth to obtain the first key fragment! We now need to mobilize! Not only for this specific quest, but for preparing for Karazhan in general! I propose we attempt to meet at least once a week to get together to do attunement quests and dungeon running for gear. I have talked to Van and between the two of us, Thursday evenings seem to be best. I would like to know everyone else's schedules, and if your schedule is sporadic, we can do our best to be flexible for other days (that is what family is for, right!). Wednesday is also a good evening for me to help out as well, so maybe that could be a secondary night. Just my thoughts. How about yours!

Any weeknight will be fine for me after about 6 server time. Weekends are incredibly sporatic. Having no group healer (until Sorch gets her butt over here) I've been trying to crank Monuv up vs. getting Icilis keyed... should I drop that and work on the key? or does it matter at this point?

Noooooo! I'll never get Cel to 70 if you stop playing Monuv -- you save me so much time by knowing where everything is! Seriously, if you guys are all getting keys, and I'm not quite 65, you're going to get there way ahead of me anyway, so probably keying Icilis is the way to go. It's my own fault everyone is ahead of me anyway. Don't feel sorry for me. I'm perfectly capable of feeling sorry for myself. *sigh*

No Cel! Don't feel bad! I want to set up a day or two to where we can all help eachother. Since a few of us are at the point of needing to obtain the first key fragment in the Shadow Lab, I suggested it. But I also want to help you all still leveling to 70! Once you hit 68, you are eligible to start the keying quests for Karazhan. To make it clear, I want it to be NOT JUST A 70 ONLY DAY. And even if we do get the advance in the keying quests, we will still be doing the runs after to help when you guys get the quests as well. So please PLEASE don't be turned away from this event. I want to include everyone!

Thanks for saying that Guds. And, I wasn't going to quit or anything. I've got some catching up to do but it was totally my own decision to take a break when I did, instead of taking it in the months before BC came out, like all you sensible people.
Those who know me well know that I have to feel bad about something. It's in my Eyore-like nature. Now I will have to think of something else.
