((Rebekeh is 60. I am no way, no how going to do Outland on a slow horsey, so I spent tonight getting all my ducks liined up for the end of the paladin epic mount event.
First off, thanks to Van and Polrena, who came into Strat with me and helped me get the Holy Water I needed.
Now for parts 2 and 3...
I need a run into DM West. All we have to do is clear out the trees and kill Warpwood, the first boss. I talk to a horse spirit then I go to SW and get the goods for the final event. I have all the junk I need for the turn ins. For this part, any group composition will do, as long as there is enough tanking to hold Warpwood. I will be using my Shattrath hearth plus the SW portal to get to SW quickly, then flying to WPL, because . . .
Then I need a run into Scholo. We'll go to Rattlegore's room, which we will clear. Then we will face off against four waves of ghosts, and if we beat them, we will then face the Dark Knight Reaver jerk who is holding my horse hostage. KIlling him will rescue my mount.
For the Scholo run, the healer must be a priest, because combat doesn't stop between waves, and to let mana regen, we'll need shackles on the miniboss at the end of at least a couple of the waves. During each wave, one of the paladin seals miraculously acts as both an AoE stunlock and an AoE damage attack.
Ideally, the party will also have a second paladin in it, but I think we'd be okay without that. Rheyna healed this quest for someone the other day, and it's definitely been nerfed since the first time I did it -- the waves are less chaotic, and the shortened judgement cooldown doesn't seem to have been compensated for in the event. So I THINK one paladin can manage it.
We will want someone who can do AoE. I've found that a lock is actually better for this than a mage, because the SS is more useful than the sheep (since you have a priest, you can use MC to CC the summoners in that earlier room).
The other slots are open. I'm not shy at all about filling the party with ringers (i.e. people higher than level 60). I'm doing decent damage for a level 60 retn00b palli, but I'll happily take higher DPS and better tanking.
So: I need a tank? I need a priest? I need a lock or a mage? I would like a paladin, but I'll settle for any 4th class?
I'll come around on Wednesday evening, and on Thursday evening, as early as I can both nights.
I know this is a lot to ask: abandon Outland and the shiny new content to run DM and Scholo, but I'd sure be grateful. Screenshots of the party with my shiny new Charger will be posted when we succeed at this.))
