Drat...here we all are...server has crashed. Andenia made it out in time. Maybe even Finney. But I could not log out. I hope I didn't lose Kalmorith's last two hours of XP and have to back him up!
The Feathermoon server seems to load, but no character lists. Uh oh!
Still hope we can raid, but gosh I am getting tired.

If I've lost my chars, I will *not* be a happy person... at ALL...
Meanwhile, I'm having fun creating chaos with Clez, and posting... >>

I suppose we shouldn't be using the message boards like a chatline. Lord Windfoot will be displeased.
I don't think there is any risk we will lose our characters. But I have heard that sometimes they have to "roll back" the servers and the characters appear a day "younger" and minus the XP and quests they completed since the last backup.
We'll know soon enough...*twiddles thumbs*
Then, two minutes later, I notice Clez is no longer online here in the halls...ah ha! He has gone online...I KNOW IT!
I rush back to the game, log in...and wait for Feathermoon to give me some sugar...then...I see my characters!!
The "World is down" drat...all dressed up and no place to go...

Well, I am happy to say that despite the Gods fooling with the world, the fund-raising excursion to raise funds for the Quartermaster stores DID happen!
It was late, but it went ahead.
I first heard Steinar on the buzzbox, calling for brave adventurers to rally forth. Tyria answered, as did little (but strong) Kasie. Short on their heals was Ireculb and my good friend Kalmorith. Fechak and Andenia joined up, and then Finney. Before I knew it, there were NINE adventureres forming a raid group!
Steinar, taking advantage of the numbers, redirected the raid to the dreaded SUNKEN TEMPLE! I had a chance to meet the adventureres face to face in Ironforge before they set out, and the brave band, looking so strong and energetic, brought a tear to my eyes...
They reminded me of my days in the army as the brave Paladins set out to fight in the name of honor...and valor.
It took them some time reach their target. I listened intently as they breached the dreaded place. There were some calls for help, and some tense moments. Areas that were secured suddenly became infested again. I kept my ear to the buzzbox listening, helpless to do anything. I was often mesmerized by the shouts, screams, and smashing sounds over the buzzbox...sometimes it was terribly chilling...
I suppose I shouted into the darned box too many times, asking for an update. Well, I sure had a ringside seat to a very exciting evening.
I have to admit, the group was in the Temple for longer than I could stay awake, and I fell asleep with my head on the table in my corner at the Stonefire Tavern.
The day, the influx of gold came in (7 gold initially with more coming from other members) and a goodly number of weapons and armour. Also, four good shards, thanks to Andenia.
In the end, the adventure was a resounding success! I thank all those who participated with all my heart! Indeed, this guild is as good an army as I've ever served with!

Hail Quarmas, Good to hear you did well from the raid. I mailed you another forteen and a half gold just recently so it sounds like we raised close to 22g, not counting equipment and shards. I'll bet that if we sold everything in the auction hall, we would easily raise another 50g. I think that's a great success. I am shamefaced from this raid from one thing. We got to the door of The Temple of Atal'Hakkar only to discover that Brisingr was a level shy of experience to enter. I did not know such restrictions existed, but Brisingr was very noble about it and let the group go on without him. For his selflessness, the group purchased him a Nightscape Tunic of which I hope he finds of great use. I remembered to snap a couple of pictures of the event. The first involves our adventure downstairs to the Pit of Refuse where we activated all the statues to bring out Atal'alarion. And the second picture was after we followed Kasie's suggestion and smushed. We then went upstairs, and took out the Troll minibosses followed by Jammal'an the Prophet so we could take on Eranikus, the toughest dragon in the temple. Here we are in the Chamber of the Dragon. And here we are with one less dragon. I'm sure you're all curious, so here's how we did for damage: Damage Dealt for All Fights: [1.Clez 298818 (20%)] [2.Tyria 264277 (18%)] [3.Steinar 258968 (18%)] [4.Vangelis 190204 (13%)] [5.Finney 132449 (9%)] [6.Kalmorith 123656 (8%)] [7.Kasie 94688 (6%)] [8.Ireculb 42912 (3%)] [9.LeBlanc 36686 (2%)] [10.Kelduneus 27448 (2%)] Max Hit for All Fights: [1.Steinar 1425] [2.Vangelis 1346] [3.Clez 965] [4.Finney 812] [5.Tyria 796] [6.Kalmorith 595] [7.Kasie 455] [8.Ireculb 389] [9.Andenia 308] [10.LeBlanc 153] DPS for All Fights: [1.Clez 127.0] [2.Steinar 118.3] [3.Tyria 118.1] [4.Vangelis 84.8] [5.Finney 73.0] [6.Kalmorith 71.9] [7.Ireculb 59.1] [8.Kasie 54.8] [9.Andenia 25.9] [10.LeBlanc 21.3] And here's the people who took the punishment: Damage Tanked for All Fights: [1.Steinar 79702 (24%)] [2.Kasie 61084 (19%)] [3.Clez 48319 (15%)] [4.Vangelis 44317 (13%)] [5.Tyria 38602 (12%)] [6.LeBlanc 17281 (5%)] [7.Kelduneus 9875 (3%)] [8.Kalmorith 8641 (3%)] [9.Ireculb 8632 (3%)] [10.Andenia 7243 (2%)] And hats off to the healers, who we couldn't have done without: Healing for All Fights: [1.Andenia 95143 (61%)] [2.Clez 49337 (32%)] [3.Tyria 6431 (4%)] [4.Kasie 1360 (1%)] [5.Ireculb 1324 (1%)] [6.Finney 710 (0%)] [7.Vangelis 638 (0%)] [8.Steinar 510 (0%)] My thanks to everyone who made it despite the world being tied up in some Troll Shaman spell. More raids are planned so be sure to check back to the forums for information. Steinar

Maraudon! Filled with centaurs, slime, lizards and giants!
Seven of us headed there, and returned victorious! Even if Windfoot got lost for a bit, thought that you had been eaten by that croc for a bit Windy ;D.
So far the money for the Warhammer Trust has reached... around 24g give or take. Still a couple of items on Auction.
Steinar has the statistics and pics, looking forward to them!
Cheers
Clez
