They say that your life flashes before your eyes as your life’s blood spills out of your body. It doesn’t. It is a surreal mix of flashing regrets and the fondest of moments, and then it is all over. Lying here, on the ground, life blood pouring through my hands, these memories seem so distant now, and yet, so close.
Then, suddenly, there is a bright light, then darkness.
Then the cold sets in, and the end is near.

“Dendrite, my friend, it has been too long.”
“And I wish that our meeting could be under better circumstances, my friend.” A certain sadness filled his eyes, a sadness that has run thousands of years deep. “Malfurion has been taken, or at least he is missing.”
“How can this be? Where?”
“The Dream. It has turned into a nightmare. As you and most the others were slumbering, evil and corruption were afoot. The green dragonflight is battling in the Dream, attempting to wrest control from . . . I don’t really know. Ysera leads them, but it is beyond my own comprehension how or why or . . . I am just exasperated at this point.” “My friend, slow down. What do you know?”
“I know that they have Malfurion, or at least he is battling to stop it. He is with Cenarius; we have to send as many as we can to assist. Our numbers are depleted, but the Dream must not fall.”
“Say no more. I just have to say good-bye to some people first.”
“There is no time for that, Kielon; I am afraid every minute is precious. If you are to help, you must leave right away.” With this, Dendrite turned away. Sorrow filled his face. “It is very possible that I am sending you to your death, old friend, and I apologize for that.”
“Dendrite, when I took my oath as a druid, I swore to stand beside Malfurion, to follow Cenarius wherever he needs me. I go willingly to do that now.”
Dendrite looked pensive. “I am sure Fandral would not appreciate that. He no longer has the foresight; he would rather destroy Darnassus than see Malfurion return to head the druids.”
“My master knows my allegiance to him has withered. There will be a time when he will get just what he deserves, but as long as he does not actively attempt to stop us, then he is no enemy and no threat.”

This made me a bit sad, I'm almost glad you haven't been working on it.
Even when I'm not writing much about my characters, I sort of keep the development of their stories in mind -- well, with Cel and Thel and Laranna, anyway.
So Celera and Kielon were both out of the game, for non-rp reasons, really, but in my mind I've been thinking they were off together in the Emerald Dream. Who knows what they are up to out there -- but I saw a cartoon the other day where one Tauren says to another, "What happens in the Emerald Dream stays in the Emerald Dream!" So perhaps we should just leave that story alone.
Of course, now that Kielon is back at least occasionally, perhaps Cel will reappear soon too. She could at least do some fishing.
I sorta gave up on thinking what happens next in Thel's story, now that Icilis has quit the game altogether. The logical parallel of that is just ... not the story I want to write. *frowns at Shane*

((Oh, I'm sure you will. I just have to get through this bloody hot weather, and I'll write more too.
But, I don't want to have to write any explanation for why Thel is all alone and Icilis has disappeared. That was my point.))
