Windfoot, how difficult would it be to rearrange the way the floorplans are displayed so that the actual posts aren't stretched so far off the screen? It's still a pain to read.

As opposed to stifling RP, for me, at least, the floorplans and outlines of staff and duties opens up whole realms of possibilities; I don't have to make my own stuff up, I can extrapolate on the stuff already there!
Now I'd like to know, for example, whether initiates have smaller rooms ("cells," perhaps, for Virtue, heh) and how they are decorated. Are the rooms pre-furnished? How so? A bed, a table, a chair and a rug? More? Are there bookshelves? (And are there printing presses in Azeroth? How rare are books, anyway?) Can either initiates or members (or both) decorate their own rooms, or should each room be a reflection of the wing scheme?
*Nudge Kaillen* Where do I look up Virtue's wing scheme?
Does each Defender have a maid or valet? Or does each Lord and Warden have one, with one or two more for the rest of each House? Who can use the gardens?
Is it appropriate for members of different Houses to meander into other House quarters, or is it impolite? I've seen that mail can be sent to everyone within the guild, as for specific notices, but would a person only send mail, or a footman, or can they go themselves to find someone?
And um...ok, I'll stop now.

Pol, I love your questions. Strikes me that you and Merlinne need to answer all of those. If you want to vet your ideas past me, PM them to me The only way RP happens is if people just up and do it. That's what I did with the floor plans. Mr. Grumpy-pants (Vangelis) then complained that it was more like a castle than a Hall and I just ignored him Whee! For the sake of clarity, I am saying please answer all of your questions yourself. If anyone doesnt like you ideas then we can hash it out. Throwing the ideas out is 90% of the way there already...

Greetings my friends,
The grandness of your design and detail is outstanding. Praise be to you. Please excuse my ignorant question, but where is our temple? The House of Virtue will require at least one public temple and two or more private chapels.
I thank you for hearing me

I have a question about the structure, specifially as to how it pertains to "Into the Dark." Allow me to quote:
"a warm hearth burned brightly every night in each room. The master bedroom was four times the size anyone could reasonably need, with large deep-set windows facing out to the front courtyard of the Halls and double stain-glassed doors leading out into an inner balcony looking over the main entrance foyer."
"Peeking cautiously through the stained-glass doors into Windfoot's bedchamber."
"There was an open door just down the corridor. Four strides and she turned to look into the room...heard another shout from the stairs across the room. That was all it took to send her across the foyer and up the stairs."
"Vangelis stumbled and fell backward through the open doorway onto the balcony..."
I'm trying to figure out what Polrena would see if she came in, and I discovered fairly quickly that I have no idea where things are happening.
The picture Windfoot posted is great, but I see at least 3 possible rooms within the oval that the action could be taking place in. In two, the main entrance looks to be from the east, with the balcony is on the west side. Although what I see as a balcony might very well be a fireplace... In another, the balcony is east, and the door is to the south. I don't know where the real balcony is in relation to the door, though everyone else seems to have figured it out just fine. I feel kind of stupid, and I'm sorry for asking something that seems so obvious to everyone else, but I'm all kinds of confused.
Is there any possibility at all of having some of the extraneous lines in the blueprints removed? I can recognize doors, walls, and stairs. All the other lines confuse me. I don't know if they're supposed to be closets, or beds, or rugs, or what. There seem to be a lot of lines that box in rooms completely, leaving no doors at all.
While I'm wishing, can you label everything, too? *grin* Preferably with current occupant. Oh, and a scale would be fabulous.
Ok, so maybe not. It would be a huge help to me, though, if someone could tell me where in the oval thie action is happenening, and which way everyone is facing. Thank you for reading this. ;D

Polrena, it is not you. Some of the entries have been a bit messed up. I've glossed over it. Here is MY version of the Guildmaster's suite. One tiny modification (stairs up to the bedroom) to accomodate the story. *You* need to redesign the rest of the Halls... or at least Virtue, so that my wild squiggles make sense

Oh my! what a grand hall! In the elven lands where I come from, only the temple of Selune is spacious, every other building is rather small, seeing as they are mostly GROWN. I was shown the estate a little after joining the Defenders and must admit to have taken the better part of a day exploring around.
I was told that a room was made out for me but I was wondering if I could have a room on the third floor, perhaps with a large window showing some of the grounds, and a sky-light that I may properly observe the required devotions to the Goddess at night?
