Sorry everyone, I started something and didn't follow through. I've not been checking this site as much, with work and shooting this movie and all, but I'll try to be more responsible.
If we do this, let me know and I'll make up the poster!!

Oh, sorry, I should not have said anything...the movie is called "The Poet". It has Daryl Hannah, Kim Coates, Johnathan Scarfe (Canadian) and a bunch of others (Fech, it is directed by Damian Lee)
...it is a love story that takes place in Poland in 1940. I have a very small part as a German sergeant (Oberfeldwebel) who does bad things in the background. I have some speaking (in German), and even a singing, part (also in German). The movie is likely to be a "B" movie, and I doubt it will get a distributed so it will likely go directly to DVD. I'll keep you posted. I go in for day 5 and 6 of the shoot this week.
I had more fun doing Captain von Trapp, though...

Well, I just spent two solid days on the sound stage in the stuffy set of a cramped cabaret. I don't smoke, but went through hundreds of cigarettes (all German soldiers smoked, pretty much) for take after take. All of the principles were on the set at one point or another, and it was a hoot.
They decided they wanted one of the Germans to get up on the cabaret stage in a drunken stupor to lead the Germans in a soldier song before the girls came out, so it was me.
So, I was very excited to FINALLY be the focus of the "Rolling! Frame up! Sound! Scene 23 Alpha, take one! ACTION!"
Man, what a high.
Of course, it probably won't make the film, but what a neat feeling!
