Testing it out, I learned a few things: - Things looks very different 'in person'
- The "cuts" border (shown my original suggestion) looks very different 'in person' (see #1 and #6).
- There is no real white background, so we must have a border
- Gold border, red crest (my original suggestion) did not knock me out (#4)
- I kind of like gold border/gold crest the best (#5 & #6)
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Yeah, the white/red combo might look like we're medics from a distance. I'm actually fond of #5 and #6, leaning more toward #6

... Not that there's anything wrong with being a medic.

Based on those screenshots I'd have to go with #6.
Hmm... might it attract us some paladins due to how nicely it will go with the Lightforge set?
We need a new name for our guild too... How about "Smell the Tabard"? But there's a fine line between clever and stupid.

one of you PS masters needs to make a "Feed the Bear" banner for the website too.

I have to say number 6 as well. Finney's right that the red and white looks a bit like the Red Cross, or whatever they are calling themselves now. With the lower-contrast white/gold scheme, the extra texture in the border on #6 is helpful.
These colors would go with more different kinds of armor than the other choices, although it's a little bright and cheery for a warlock (except Boswell, of course.)
I tried a gold background with red border and crest and kinda liked that too, but then we have the problem of it not coordinating with most people's armor.

((Sorcha won't wear anything white, since she's all about contrast with her hair. Rheyna doesn't like how tabards all look like bibs when you are wearing a skirt. Malka likes #6 best and is looking forward to wearing it with full Lawbringer one of these days.
You can safely ignore Sorcha. When the 1.10 patch goes live and she loses her eyebrows, she's going to be in full sulk mode anyway.))

(/agrees with Rheyna) What is with the bib anyway? It sure is annoying.

((I like 6 as well but Merlinne doesn't wear her tabard because of the aforementioned "bib" effect.))

Why can't we have a pink Tabbard with a butterfly or a teddy bear? ;D

*votes for 6*
except I won't likely wear it often either (if/when I actually end up being deserving of getting one), for the "bib" thing.
Maybe I'll just get a set of pretty white robes to wear for guild meetings. then it might not look so "bib" ish.

Faxxon likes anything that glitters so gold is good!

*pops her head in*
The guild lets a man decide on fashion? *eyes the guild leader more closely* Is he a lover of other men? That would be more acceptable, as often males who are more...effeminate tend ot have twenty times the amount of taste-- *finally notices the design ideas up closely* Oh MY! You DO have good taste!
*chews her bottom lip a long moment--family trait* Hmm...My preference is the White background, with the Red insignia, and the Gold, solid line border. *checks again* Number Four, it says.
*stands about two inches taller, with a wide, proud smile* There you are. */pat Danano/Windfoot on the back* My two copper as a now...OFFICIAL...member! */winks and does a little wave as she walks away*
