.....you may or may not know who I am. A former Defender.......
.....if you ever need assistance on an excursion. You are welcome to seek my assistance......
.........I am rarely doing anything of much value with my time, and my curses are available almost every night.

Thank you Calydon, for your support. I am glad to see you.
Again last night we did not ahve enough interest to go (not even enough to pester Calydon to join up to make 5). I have not yet gotten momentum started on this idea of questing at 7, perhaps because people are just waiting for BC and don't enjoy 5-manning for its own sake as much as I do.
On the plus side, Polrena called for aid and support in Arathi Basin (and Arathi Valley), and Robb went to help. AB was surprisingly more fun than my only other experience PvPing, Warsong Gultch. Mostly, the Alliance lost, but it was still fun.
So...my new plan is to be available at 7 for a 5-man instance, but otherwise to PvP with Pol in AB (and anyone else who might care to join us as a team).

I don't know if a lack of momentum is it, exactly. There just aren't that many of us. Most evenings there are 5 to 7 people online, it seems, and not everyone is 60 -- or we have other non-60's we don't want to neglect.
For myself, I'm trying not to be online every non-sleeping non-working hour of my life -- so I took last night off. (And, among other things, I watched Capote, which was an excellent film).
I expect to be online tonight, although I have to make dinner and it's possible I won't be there right at seven. Jon doesn't always appreciate me rushing through dinner just to get to the game. He seems to feel I should talk with him and stuff. But after that, I'll be around.

Wow, FM has short BG queues. About 1/3 or less as long as I am used to. I think that when Malka58 gets here, she's gonna be a horde-smashing kind of dorf. (I will say that Alliance doesn't seem quite as organized or disciplined in this battlegroup, which is one reason I am going to use a palli for my PvP toon -- they are very much more survivable in BG than a priest.) So there you have it. One more thing for me to do in the coming months. You're telling me! Robb has been getting hammered in Arathi Basin. Last night Polrena, Ambrus, Boswell and Robb got together and assaulted the Basin together, and even though we always took the node we attacked, the horde just seemed to waltz behind us and take them back, along with the other 4 nodes. We were left scratching our head about what the 11 other alliance we doing. Robb has got bruises on his bruises and is crying himself to sleep every night. It sure would be nice to have someone along who knows what they are doing. The queue for Arathi Basin were 3-5 minutes earlier this week, then 10-14 minutes last night.

Robbyn's assignment to the Arathi front lines has been long and grueling. A soldier must do his duty, and so Robbyn had gone when ordered, but he did not belong there. Every day he waited with dread for the order to go and defend, or worse, take strategic targets. And every day it felt like a little bit of his soul eroded. He stopped complaining. He stopped feeling anything...
((I have company coming to stay for a week starting tomorrow. Tonight, I'll try to get something together at 7 pm, but after tonight will not likely be online at 7, if at all.))
